Full Card Sweep was built with the vision of becoming the number 1 handicapping service in NFL, NBA, NCAAF, NCAAB and NHL with a robust backend that would allow us to manage subscriptions and send picks to our customers at the hit of a button, while also supporting this with highly curated educational emails and engaging social content across Instagram and Tiktok.

The Challenge

Full Card Sweep was born out of AP Keaton’s vision to create an ethical and cutting-edge sports handicapping service. The goal was to build a unique, brand-driven platform that stood out in the competitive world of sports betting—offering seamless subscriptions, instant pick delivery, and a dynamic content strategy that positioned Full Card Sweep as the premier handicapping service in NFL, NBA, NCAAF, NCAAB, and NHL.


A Retro Take on Modern Sports Betting

Inspired by the nostalgia of vintage collector baseball cards, Full Card Sweep’s visual identity was carefully crafted to tap into the childhood love for game cards, blending retro aesthetics with a modern digital edge.


Brand Identity

  • Typography & Colors: A warped type treatment referenced vintage sports jerseys and ball logos, creating a playful yet recognizable visual style.

  • Gamified Experience: The color palette, fonts, and design elements echoed the thrill of sports betting, making it an immersive and engaging brand experience.


Digital Marketing: Driving Engagement Through Social & Email

Full Card Sweep’s digital presence was strategically designed to foster a strong community and maintain an active, engaging brand voice.


Social Media Strategy

  • A witty, bold, and slightly snarky brand voice was developed to resonate with sports fans.

  • Instagram and Tiktok were leveraged for rapid audience growth, with daily news updates, influencer collaborations, and viral content.

  • The brand hit 10K followers in under four months by tapping into real-time sports conversations and trends.


UI Design: A Mobile-First, Fully Integrated Platform

  • Designed in Figma and executed on WordPress, the Full Card Sweep website was built as a seamless experience with subscriptions, API integrations, Klaviyo-powered email automation, a blog, a merch store, and live chat functionality.

  • The mobile-first approach ensured optimal user experience and accessibility, making it easier for users to navigate picks and insights in real-time.

  • The website launch was a defining moment, transforming the brand from concept to a profitable business in under four months.


Merch Store: Real-Time Relevance Meets Nostalgic Design

  • The Print-On-Demand Merch Store, designed and executed via Printful, carried forward the brand’s vintage influences, with 1980s sports nostalgia at its core.

  • Merchandise was strategically updated in real-time, responding to live sports events and trending topics to drive sales.


Email Marketing & Newsletters

  • A structured email cadence was implemented, segmenting content into insights, picks, and editorial features.

  • Custom editorial-style emails led to a 70% contribution to overall profits, demonstrating the power of a well-crafted email strategy.
